Dr. Dale Podolsky is a Cleft and Craniofacial Paediatric Surgeon with the Hospital for Sick Children, with a background in Mechanical Engineering and Physics. 
 

Following medical school, he completed his Residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Toronto, and pursued a Paediatric Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship in Seattle, Washington. 
 

His research led to the development of robotic instruments for cleft palate surgery and successful commercialization of cleft simulators used worldwide. 
 

Moreover, he founded Simulare Medical, whose cleft simulators have been widely used and recently acquired by Smile Train.
