Ms. Ponce de Leon holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western University, and a Master’s degree in International Development from York University. 
 

More recently, she completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences and Sustainability, as well as a Project Management certificate at the University of Toronto. 
 

She has over ten years’ experience in communications and stakeholder relations in non-profit associations and proudly volunteers on the boards of several community organizations.
 

Her trilingual abilities have allowed Ms. Ponce de Leon to blend her passions for education, community development and travel. 
 

She has conducted research in the Ecuadorian Amazon, worked for advocacy groups in Chile, volunteered in Peru and the Dominican Republic, and completed a portion of her education in France.
